While Misty can coach you through most of your mental health journey needs, she focuses primarily on identity and purpose from a Biblical perspective and blended/stepfamily marriage coaching.

Together, Matt and Misty will focus on premarriage and marriage. When you book with Misty, please indicate if you’re looking for premarriage or marriage coaching.

Amber focuses on identity and purpose and parenting through the early years.

Mental Health Coaching and Pastoral Care Counseling do not utilize a license. They, instead, utilize certifications and experience. If you are in need of a licensed counselor, I can refer you to some amazing ones! Think of us as "the middle man." We are less clinical and more pastoral, but we are also trained and certified to help your mental health.

Our goal is to give you the tools you need to manage what’s happening emotionally and develop healthy habits to improve mental health. Success for us is when we are no longer needed because that means we’ve helped them learn how to process and walk through their stress, anxiety, depression, or any other mental health struggle on their own.

As a mental health coach, I focus on identity and purpose from a Biblical perspective as well as marriage and premarriage facilitation.

Rooted in Scripture and inspired by Christian principles, my approach focuses on cultivating spiritual growth, emotional healing, and practical wisdom that honors God.

MISTY:
I am a certified mental health care coach through the American Association of Christian Counselors, and certified marriage coach through Prepare & Enrich and SYMBIS+ Marriage Facilitation, and I have served as a coach/counselor/facilitator at some capacity for more than 20 years. Serving youth, women, and couples, I have gained experience and knowledge to help you grow and heal in various areas of your life.

With mental health coaching/pastoral care counseling, I also understand when there is a need for a licensed counselor to step in, and I will not hesitate to refer you to someone to better help you if that time may come.

AMBER:
I am passionate about creating safe, judgment-free spaces where people can process their stories, ask the hard questions, and experience the healing heart of God. Having walked through both childhood trauma and church hurt myself, I know how difficult—but beautiful—the healing journey can be. I especially love coming alongside others who are navigating similar experiences or serving in ministry and longing to build a healthier church culture.

I have served in ministry at some capacity for more than 10 years.

MATT & MISTY:
We are passionate about marriages. We have been oversight for marriage ministry since 2017 in both first marriages and blended/step-family marriages. We use our experience and training from Prepare & Enrich to coach couples together through premarriage and marriage sessions.

All appointments are currently virtual to make it easier for scheduling and allow you to be in the comfort of your own space.

If you are local and prefer to meet in person, please don’t hesitate to let me know, and we can look to scheduling an in-person appointment.

I do understand sometimes cost of counseling and coaching can be a frustrating obstacle. Contact me, and we can talk about options. My goal is to help you, and I don’t want you to ever feel it’s impossible to get help.

We are so thankful to have donors who help with the cost for event scholarships and counseling sessions. Reach out, and we can see what will work for you.

Packages

You will receive an email with payment link after you schedule. Please EMAIL ME if you need to discuss other payment options.

Counseling Packages:

  • 1 Session $100 ($75 if scheduling with Amber)
  • 4 Sessions $325
  • 8 Sessions $600
  • Premarital Package $600 (avg 5-8 sessions – amount of sessions will vary per couple’s needs) *you will receive a certificate and $60 discount for your Texas marriage license upon completion. Please let me know if you need a payment plan for these.
  • Officiating Wedding (varies depending on location) *Please note, premarital package is a requirement for me to officiate.

I never want money to be an obstacle to get you the help you need. These session packages are also offered on a sliding scale, so don’t hesitate to schedule as I will work with you on this. You will not be denied based on what you can or cannot pay.
